“This has been a life changing experience for me.”
— Debo Mouloudji - Resident Artist 2018

77ART is  host to an artist residency program, which is held during the summer months. The residency is self-directed and designed to give emerging artists time and space to create new works and expand their practice. Our 2021 studios are in an historic opera house that has had many lives. The space is unique and unvarnished. The studios represent a variety of shapes and sizes and additional workspace will be available. There are no requirements that artists complete projects during their stay at 77ART.

It’s a unique opportunity to get to know a community on an extremely intimate level… It felt like going to hang out with family members— just the level of warmth coming from the people who came to meet us.”
— Karen Y. Chan - Resident Artist 2018
